Speaking at PHDays is a chance to present your research to an interested audience, win the admiration of your colleagues, and network with the movers and shakers of the security world. There are several ways in which to present your work: a traditional talk, Fast Track, or Hands-on Lab. If you've got something to say, we look forward to you saying it at PHDays 8.
Undergraduate and graduate students, as well as unaffiliated young scientists active in security research, can take part in Young School. Authors of the best works will be provided tickets to attend PHDays.
Tell us about your research
Young School is the perfect chance for up-and-coming specialists to perform independent research in information security and present the results to the international security community.
The highlight of PHDays is The Standoff, a pitched 30-hour cyberbattle between teams of hackers, defenders, and security operations centers (SOCs). Conditions replicate the real world as closely as possible: with minimal restrictions, attackers can try almost every trick in the book to take down infrastructure. As always, the purpose is to demonstrate how real security threats are handled by professionals in practice. Taking part in The Standoff is the perfect way to demonstrate your team's skills and capabilities in live-fire conditions.
Show what you're made of
Prove your skills at probing digital systems and solving tricky puzzles as part of our pre-event competitions, currently scheduled for the first week of May. The winners will receive exciting prizes and free tickets to PHDays.
