Matthias has been interested in information technology, especially IT security, since his early days and has a great interest in seeing whether security assumptions in software, firmware, or hardware hold true when taking a closer look. He successfully studied computer science at the University of Ulm. Holds such IT security certifications as CISSP, CISA, OSCP, and OSCE. Since 2007, he has worked as IT Security Consultant and Head of R&D for SySS. He has shared his cybersecurity research results at international IT security conferences, such as Chaos Communication Congress, DeepSec, Hacktivity, Zeronights, Ruxcon, Hack.lu, BSidesVienna.
